These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Bloom mobile application ("Bloom," "the App") operated by Made for This Birth LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Bloom, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.2. What Bloom Is
Bloom is a labor companion application that provides contraction timing, breathing guidance, encouragement, and educational content related to labor and birth.3. Medical Disclaimer
This section is especially important. Please read it carefully.Bloom provides general educational information about labor, birth, and related topics. This information is for general knowledge only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The contraction timing feature is a tool to help you track the pattern of your surges. It does not evaluate whether your labor is progressing safely. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.
The breathing guidance feature offers general relaxation and breathing techniques. These are not medical interventions.
The labor pattern analysis and stage estimation features are based on general guidelines. Every labor is unique. These estimates are approximations only.
Never disregard professional medical advice, delay seeking medical care, or discontinue medical treatment based on information provided by Bloom.In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.4. Eligibility
Bloom is intended for use by adults (18 years of age or older). If you are under 18, you may use Bloom only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.5. Your Account and Data
Bloom does not require you to create an account. Your contraction data, personal anchors, preferences, and uploaded photos are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this personal content.
If you subscribe to Full Bloom, your subscription is managed through your Apple ID and the App Store.6. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Features
Bloom offers core contraction timing, basic encouragement content, and limited breathing guidance at no cost.
Full Bloom (Premium)
Full Bloom is an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features including personal photo libraries, custom anchors, all breathing techniques, partner mode, advanced labor insights, and additional customization options.
Subscription TermsFull Bloom is offered as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple's support at reportaproblem.apple.com.7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Bloom only for its intended purpose as a personal labor companion. You agree not to:Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content without our written permission
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our authorization
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the App
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws8. Intellectual Property
All content within Bloom — including text, quotes, educational materials, design elements, graphics, and software code — is the property of Made for This Birth LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Content you create within Bloom (your personal anchors, uploaded photos, and session labels) remains yours.9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Bloom is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, that the contraction timing will be perfectly accurate, that the labor stage estimates will be correct for your individual situation, or that the App will be compatible with all devices.10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Made for This Birth LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, any health outcomes related to use of the App, reliance on information provided through the App, or interruption of the App.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.11. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any features of Bloom at any time.12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date. For significant changes, we will provide notice within the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.13. Governing Law

Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. Your data belongs to you.
Bloom stores your contraction data and preferences on your device, not on our servers. We collect anonymous analytics to improve the app. We never sell your data. We never will.1. Who We Are
Bloom is a labor companion app developed and operated by Made for This Birth LLC. When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means Made for This Birth LLC. When it refers to "you" or "your," it means you — the person using Bloom.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is created and stored entirely on your device. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it:Contraction timing data — start times, end times, durations, and intervals between surges
Session records — saved contraction timing sessions and any labels you give them
Your preferences and settings — color theme, content preferences, breathing technique selections, and personalization choices
Your personal anchors — any words, intentions, or prayers you write within the app
Your photos — any images you add to your visual focus libraryThis data is stored using Apple's standard on-device storage. We do not have access to it. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted.
Anonymous Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data that helps us improve Bloom. This includes:Which features are used (e.g., how often breathing guidance is opened)
General app performance data (crash reports, load times)
Device type and operating system version
Country-level location (never precise location)This data is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Full Bloom, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We receive:An anonymous subscriber identifier
Your subscription status (active, expired, trial)
Purchase dates and plan typeWe do not receive your name, email address, Apple ID, or payment information through this process.3. What We Do Not Collect

The anonymous analytics data we collect is used exclusively to:Understand how women use Bloom so we can improve the experience

Decide which features to develop next
Measure the overall health and performance of the appWe do not use your data for advertising. We do not build user profiles. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.5. Third-Party Services
Bloom uses two third-party services:Firebase Analytics (Google) — for anonymous usage analytics. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat — for subscription management. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacyWe do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party services that collect personal information.6. Data Sharing
Bloom includes a feature that lets you generate a PDF summary of your contraction timing data to share with your care team. This sharing is entirely initiated by you — we are not involved in the transmission and do not receive a copy.7. Data Retention
Your contraction data and personal content exist only on your device. We do not store copies. When you delete the app or clear its data, that information is gone.
Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase according to Google's standard data retention policies (typically 14 months for event-level data).8. Children's Privacy
Bloom is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.9. Your Rights
Because Bloom stores personal data locally and does not require account creation, you have direct control over your data at all times. You can:Delete any saved sessions, anchors, or photos within the app
Delete the app entirely to remove all local data
Contact us to request information about what anonymous analytics data may existIf you are a resident of the European Economic Area, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights. Please contact us at [email protected].10. Security
Your personal content is protected by the security features built into your Apple device, including device encryption and passcode/biometric protection. Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no central database that could be compromised.11. Changes to This Policy
